This is to inform you all that on 2nd October, CGC is organizing many activities to mark "Swatch Bharat Abhiyan" which include the following:

1.  Cleanliness drive ( Landran Village). 
2.  Paper presentation .
3. Poster Making competition
 
The theme of poster making competition is "Clean India"- how people can help Government /  innovative ideas for making India clean expressed through posters.

The theme of paper presentation is :

i) Making India Clean: Problems and solution 
ii) Presentation of innovative ideas on making India Green and clean 
 
The schedule of paper presentation is  : 2PM-4.30PM Venue Auditorium

The timing for paper presentation is 10 minutes which can be presented through ppt or paper reading.

Interested students can give their names to the department.

We are pleased to announce that, in an endeavor to equip students with new age challenges and become job providers then job seekers, University Relations team of IBM India has launched an IBM Bluemix contest for students which will help them take their ideas to market in no time.  IBM Bluemix is a new Platform as a Service (PaaS) offering from IBM.

Schedule of Mid Term Project Presentation for M.Tech 3rd Sem

This is to inform all M.Tech 3rd Sem students that they have to submit mid term project report on 16th October 2014. Students should report sharply at 10.00 a.m. in the seminar hall (4F 17) along with their presentation and spiral bound report. You have to discuss the progress till date i.e.  you have to discuss literature review and work done till date.
You will be given 20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for suggestions/ viva of the work. Kindly refer the  blog for format of report.

We are pleased to announce that the elite Indian Air Force has again considered our campus for Fast Track Selection (FTS) for short listing of the candidates for selection into Flying, Meteorology and Accounts Branches.  The details are as given below:

About FTS:
Indian Air Force, the fourth largest Air Force in the world offers a great career opportunity to young aspirants for making a bright and dynamic career.  It has been their endeavour to provide options to the youth pursuing various streams and levels of education to join different branches in IAF through a variety of entry modes.  With a view to reach out to the candidates, IAF conducts campus selection drives called Fast Track Selection (FTS) in reputed educational institutions spread all over the Country. The aim of FTS is to shortlist the candidates at designated campuses for further testing at one of the Air Force Selection Boards.

Candidates short listed on the basis of Phase-I testing (AFCAT and Screening test for Accounts & Flying Branch and Screening test for Meteorology Branch) will be called for further testing at one of the Air Force Selection Boards. Selected candidates should be able to submit all documents before 15 Dec 14 and will be inducted for training in Jan 15 Course.  Candidates who have already appeared for 5 Day testing in any of the AFSBs for 15 SSC(M) & 44 SSC (W) (for Flying Branch) & 137 PC / 30 SSC(M) / 46 SSC (W) (for Accounts and Met Branch) are not eligible. Airmen are not eligible to apply.
