LABS @ECE

The following are the laboratories of ECE department:-

1.     Basic Electrical & Electronics Engineering
2.     Signal & Systems
3.     Electronic Measurements & Instrumentation
4.     Analog Communication Systems
5.    VLSI Design
6.     Microwave Engineering
7.  M.Tech Lab
ECE Department has 5 well equipped laboratories including  2 software labs equipped with 60 high end PCs.
Internet Connectivity is  available in all labs.

BEEE Lab:-

Students developing their skills in the Electrical domain of Engineering, working with AC Motors, transformers, etc. Also learn to use basic Electronic devices such as Diodes, transistors, etc.

   Signal & Systems Lab:-

Use and operation of spectrum analyzers; advanced signal analysis using oscilloscopes; measuring impulse response, step response, frequency response, and computer analysis of real signals. MATLAB programming is taught and used as a tool for signal analysis.

Electronic Measurements & Instruments Lab:-

In this laboratory we use a number of electronic devices to measure physical quantities
(temperature, pressure, light intensity, concentration, mass, etc.) We may also use the
result of that measurement to control something (e.g. a temperature measurement to
control the heater in a GC detector.)

Analog Communication System Lab:-

This is a companion laboratory to Communication System – Theory. It covers: fundamental elements of communications systems hardware; use of cathode ray oscilloscope and other measurement instruments typically encountered in communication systems; analog frequency and amplitude modulators and demodulators; Pulse modulator and demodulators.

VLSI Design Lab:-

Digital integrated systems design, with projects involving the design, verification, and testing of high-complexity CMOS microcircuits.

Microwave Engineering Lab:-

Analyzes the measurement and behavior of high-frequency circuits and components; equivalent circuit models for lumped elements; measurement of standing waves, power, and frequency; use of vector network analyzers and spectrum analyzers; and computer-aided design, fabrication, and characterization of microstrip circuits.

M.Tech Lab:-

This lab is regarding the course students have to study in this semester.
